Who Is The Reiki Guy?
I am a positive aspirationist and inspirationist.
I am a guide, a tutor, a mentor, a student, and a healer.
I fully and firmly believe in touching people's lives in a positive and productive manner.
I believe in promoting positive change in the world.
I believe the world is the sum of the people we come in contact with.
I think the most positive of any given situation, take the most positive from it, and give the most positive to it.
I know for a fact that when a person thinks, feels, and acts positive through every fiber of their being, the world around them becomes just that.
I work with energy and the metaphysical. I'm always experiencing new things and opening my mind to so much in life. I began my journey into energy work at the age of 9 (That's over 20 years). Some areas that I have experience in include; chakra balancing, cleansing, and alignment as well as guided meditation and a form of past-life regression that I call guided past-life imagery.
I found the wonder and joy of the simplistic and highly effective methods of Reiki after receiving a Reiki treatment myself. In all of my years, never had I felt so relaxed. I felt as if I was bathed in a comfortable cloud suspending my body and soul. I could feel so much healing taking place, and I knew then and there that this was the modality for me. I have always been a guide and healer in every facet of my life. I feel as if I had finally been reunited with my calling. There is no feeling like finding that one thing in life that makes us whole and complete. For me, that one thing is Reiki.
Shortly after my first session, I received my Reiki attunements, training, and certification from a Master Teacher in Las Vegas, NV. Since then, I have built my clientelle to include incredible people that I have been blessed to be a part of their life, growth, and healing.
I want to tell you a little bit about my experiences with attunements. I have received many different attunements, and I'd like to share my experiences with those. When I began my journey into discovering Reiki I tried everything. I read books, watched videos, searched the internet, and listened to other people talk about their experiences and knew within myself that THAT is what I wanted to do. At first, I searched for any way possible to practice Reiki without spending money to have someone attune me. I knew the attunement was a key factor, so I searched for as many ways as possible to get that. I went online and looked for any free attunements I could find. I found several, and experienced about 4 or 5 different attunements that way. I didn't feel anything at all. Not to be discouraged, I tried finding any ways to attune myself that I could. I read books, did what they said, and still, no change in my energy. The energy in my hands didn't feel any different. I didn't experience any sudden awareness. So I tried videos. That didn't work either. I had a friend of mine who was a massage therapist and had been attuned several years ago, but hadn't practiced. She wanted someone to practice on, so I said sure. Once she put her hands on me, I KNEW that THAT was what I had been searching for. I could feel the energy coming from her hands. She had been attuned at a weekend retreat, but knew someone else who was willing to do an attunement without any training. I knew the key factor was the attunement itself, and I could do the training on my own, so I said sure. I met with the lady, who was a gifted psychic. She gave me some insight and advice, then proceeded to do what I thought was an attunement. She stood very far from me and did something on both sides of me and in the front and back. She called it attuning the four corners. Again, I didn't feel any different, but not quite knowing what to expect, I figured I was finally attuned. I started practicing on myself and on friends. Still nothing different in my hands, my energy wasn't any different. It just didn't feel complete.
After all of that, I made a choice to seek out someone who was qualified that I resonated with to receive an actual attunement from. I found a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher in Vegas, which is where I was living at the time. I met with him for a Level I class. Immediately, we resonated. His energy was very calm, peaceful and open. There was something very different about this person, and the energy he had. It was about a 6 hour day going over material, history, etc. Then came the attunement. Immediately as he began, I could feel something very different from anything else I had ever experienced. When he was done, I could literally feel a significant change in the energy in my hands. My hands were extremely hot, not sweaty or clammy but very hot, almost like someone put a heating pad on my hands. I KNEW this was it, this is what I had been searching for. Then we did some hands on practice. I could FEEL where people needed more energy. I could tell when an area was done. Sometimes, I would even get an idea in my head as to what personal issues were creating such a need for energy. I continued my training with him all the way to Master/Teacher level. Each time was a more impressive experience. Each time, I noticed a significant change in my energy, and in the information I would receive from my clients.
